"The great thing about Victoria’s photographs are the fact they can be used in different ways throughout the year. This includes our website, annual review, other publications, social media and the press."
"Victoria makes people feel at ease and, to steal a cliché, her images say more than a thousand words. She captures everything we need in a brief (and more)." Ross Lidbetter, Optivo
Stock photography for housing associations
Over the past few years, I've enjoyed taking photographs for A2Dominion's stock library. These shoots last a day or two and residents are asked to participate in advance. They are planned meticulously so that we make the most of everyone's time and we finish with a strong batch of images to add to their library. The library is then populated with believable images that reflect the housing and communities they work in. They think ahead about the themes that might be coming up in their newsletters and on their website and I then enjoy seeing them crop up in their various communications to residents, stakeholders and staff. More examples are in my portfolio.
Event photography for housing associations
What I love about working in housing is the variety and this is certainly true when it comes to events. I've photographed family fun days at the park, campaign launches at the House of Commons and everything in between. Whatever the event, my approach is the same, I'm there to capture the story in pictures. It's all about watching carefully and capturing the action, so that you can promote any aspect you wish after the event. Here are just a few examples from one housing association - Optivo. More are in my portfolio.
Headshots and group shots of staff
Professional photography makes such a difference to websites and publications, especially when it comes to headshots of your staff. If you take the time to do group shots and headshots professionally it can make all the difference to your image as an organisation. More examples can be seen in my portfolio.
