Every so often A2Dominion ask me to take some photographs of their residents to add to their photo library. This means that when they need photographs for newsletters, websites, leaflets etc they have a pool to draw from. Of course, they could use the usual stock libraries, but the images are much more relatable if they are taken in A2Dominion homes and feature real residents. Today I was taking photographs of older people and we smiled and laughed all day!
A2Dominion take great pride in their newsletters for residents and this extends to the care they take when planning the photoshoot. It is always such a pleasure to be asked to take photographs for them. I know that the day will be well planned and we'll come away with some great shots. Often we try to base ourselves in one location and ask residents to come to us, which maximises the time spent taking photographs. Today we were at the Orchard Cafe on their new development, Green Man Lane, Ealing, which has lovely light. By using different locations, both inside and out, we were able to get a variety of shots to illustrate upcoming articles in the newsletter. We were also able to visit an art class which was happening in the upstairs room.
Another great day with A2Dominion. These shoots are always so well organised, so we get a real variety of shots in just one day. Afterwards they join their stock library so they have plenty of images to choose from for their newsletters, website, posters and social media campaigns.
